Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of medicines, and particularly relates to application of matrine. The invention aims to solve the problem that drugs for treating tumors caused by IDH mutation are insufficient. The matrine is used for preparing a medicine for targeted treatment of IDH mutant tumors, wherein the IDH mutant tumors refer to tumors carrying mutant IDH genes or tumors induced by IDH mutations. According to the invention, MEF cells with IDH1R132Q mutation in a genome are adopted, and the influence of the matrine on the proliferation of IDH1 wild type MEF cells and R132Q mutant MEF cells is determined. Compared with IDH1 wild-type MEF cells, matrine inhibits the growth of IDH1R132Q mutant cells strongly, and it indicates that the matrine selectively inhibits the proliferation of IDH1 mutant cells.
