Abstract

The invention discloses an environmental control system for an onboard square cabin. The environmental control system includes a first overhead air conditioner, a second overhead air conditioner, a separating plate, a forced external air vent, a front and rear compartment forced air vent, and a front and rear compartment convection return air vent. The separating plate is configured to divide theonboard square compartment into an equipment compartment and a personnel compartment. The front and rear compartment forced air vent is installed above the separating plate and is provided therein with an axial flow fan. The axial flow fan blows air from the equipment compartment to the personnel compartment. The front and rear compartment convection return air vent is installed below the separating plate. The first overhead air conditioner is installed on the top of the personnel compartment. The second overhead air conditioner is installed on the top of the equipment compartment. The forcedexternal air vent is installed on the side wall of the personnel compartment. The axial flow fan installed between the personnel compartment and the equipment compartment is used as a forced air ventto control the temperature between the compartments. The closable front and rear compartment convection return air vent ensures the circulation and pressure balance of the cooling air. The overhead air conditioners do not occupy the space of the onboard square cabin.
