An exemplary feedthrough assembly includes a clean side component and a dirty side component. The clean side component is positioned inside the battery pack, and the dirty side component engages the clean side component and extends to a location outside the battery pack for interfacing with an underbody component. The seal of the feedthrough is positioned between the clean side part and the dirty side part and is configured to block the ingress of water, dirt and other potential contaminants. An exemplary pass through assembly includes clean-side component and a dirty-side component.
