Abstract

The present invention provides wireless communications systems and methods related to SDMA operations across multiple network operating entities. A first wireless communication device transmits a communication indicating a reservation for one or more spatial layers in a transmission opportunity (TXOP) of a shared spectrum. The shared spectrum is shared by a first network operating entity and a second network operating entity. The first wireless communication device is associated with the first network operating entity. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, data over the one or more spatial layers during the TXOP. The second wireless communication device is associated with the first network operating entity.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims priority and benefit to U.S. Non-Provisional Application No. 15 / 787,141, filed October 18, 2017, and U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62 / 484,730, filed April 12, 2017, as hereinafter The entire contents of said application are hereby incorporated by reference, as fully set forth and for all applicable purposes. technical field [0003] The present application relates to wireless communication systems, and more particularly to improving spectrum sharing among multiple network operating entities by employing Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA). Background technique [0004] Wireless communication systems are widely deployed to provide various types of communication content such as voice, video, packet data, messaging, broadcast, and so on. These systems can support communication with multiple users by sharing available system resources (eg, time, frequency, and power). Examples of such ...
