Embodiment 1

[0046] Embodiment 1 A method for measuring biotin content in insects, comprising the following steps:

[0047] 1. Insect Sample Extraction Processing

[0048] Described test insect is:

[0049] (1) Bemisia tabaci: This population was donated by Zhejiang University in September 2017. It was identified as the cryptic MEAM1 species of Bemisia tabaci, and then the experimental population was established with cotton as the host plant, and continued to be maintained in the artificial climate chamber.

[0050] (2) Greenhouse whitefly was collected from the tobacco of Shenyang Agricultural University in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province in September 2017. It was identified as greenhouse whitefly, and then the experimental population was established with tobacco as the host plant, and continued to be maintained in the artificial climate room.

[0051] (3) Brown planthopper: Donated by Zhejiang University in September 2017, the experimental population was established with rice as the ho...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring the content of in vivo biotin of an insect. The method comprises the following steps: (1) extracting an insect sample; (2) preparing a biotin gradient solution; (3) preparing a biotin assay culture solution; and (4) determining biotin. The lactobacillus plantarum, various culture media and the like used in the detection method are common strains or consumables in the market, the cost is low, the biotin detection cost is remarkably reduced, and the culture method is simple; the detection time of the method is 22 hours and is reduced by 22 to 26 hours compared with that of a commercial kit, and the efficiency of insect vitamin detection is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for measuring, in particular to a method for measuring biotin content in insects. Background technique [0002] B vitamins are an indispensable nutrient element for animals. B vitamins are coenzymes for many enzymes in animals. Biotin (vitamin B7), is the coenzyme of acetyl-CoA. Soluble in water, stable to acid, easily destroyed by alkali. It has a vital impact on the metabolic process of living organisms. Quantitative detection of biotin in organisms is the basis for the study of life metabolism. At present, the detection methods mainly include microbial method, fluorescence analysis, spectrophotometry, electrochemical method, high performance liquid chromatography or high performance capillary electrophoresis and so on. However, these methods are commonly used in food and feed biotin detection. [0003] There are few studies on the determination of biotin in insects. Only bedbugs have used high performance liqu...
