Abstract

The surface wave suppression method comprises the following steps: S1) suppressing surface waves ina shot domain or a geophone domain to perform a first denoising; S2) suppressing the surface waves following the first denoising by a deconvolution method to perform a second denoising; S3) suppressing the surface waves following the second denoising in a common mid-point domain to perform a third denoising; S4) suppressing the surface waves following the third denoising in pre-stack migration gathers to complete suppression of the surface waves. The method can rapidly an effectively suppress surface wave noise without missing effective waves, and obtains a set of pre-stack migration gathers and superpositions with fidelity.
