Abstract

The invention discloses a flower and plant combination for increasing natural enemies to control pests in a spring corn field and an application. The flower and plant combination provided by the invention covers nine species of herbs belonging to six families; the number of plant species is moderate; selected plants are wide in adaptability, high in stress tolerance and easy in management and maintenance; and the morphological structure and ecological function of plants are scientifically and reasonably matched. The flower and plant combination is used for constructing an artificial plant buffer zone in the spring corn field; the habitat and reproduction filed of arthropods in a farmland system can be reconstructed, so the farmland biodiversity (species and abundance) can be increased; meanwhile, various natural enemies can be conserved to control crop pests; in addition, nitrogen fixation and carbon sequestration can be achieved to promote soil health and environmental safety; the dependence of an intensive farmland on chemical fertilizers and pesticides is obviously reduced; thus, green, highly-efficient and sustainable development of agriculture and the quality safety of agricultural products are supported; and the aesthetic effect of rural ecological landscape is improved.
