The invention provides a device and a method for carrying out one-key setting by utilizing an HID keyboard. The device comprises an HID keyboard and a microprocessor which are in communication connection with each other, wherein a storage area of the microprocessor is divided into a plurality of partitions; the microprocessor is used for respectively storing the received corresponding setting scripts in different partitions; a corresponding relationship between each setting script and the HID key information is configured in one independent partition; and the microprocessor is further configured to receive key information on the HID keyboard, call a corresponding setting script to execute according to the key information and the corresponding relationship, and sequentially transmit an execution result to a to-be-set target. According to the invention, the traditional manual operation can be replaced for repeated key operation, the operation efficiency is greatly improved, and the costis saved.
