Abstract

The invention relates to a mounting system (200) for mounting a first panel to a second panel at an angle. The mounting system (200) comprises: i) a bracket (210) having a mounting portion (211) and a head (215) connected to the mounting portion (211) by a narrowed neck; a standoff (220) configured for mounting to the second panel; and iii) a locking member (230) for inserting the bracket (210) into the standoff ( 220) and keep the bracket (210) in the locked position after sliding into the locked position. The present invention also relates to the various components of the installation system and the furniture to which the installation system is applied. The invention allows the use of a click-and-lock technique for mounting the panels.
