Abstract

The invention provides an IPv4 and IPv6 interconnection system based on an SDN. The method comprises the following steps: compiling IPv4 and IPv6 interconnected application software by using a standard control interface provided by a control plane by utilizing a SDN technical means, realizing protocol translation and address conversion of an IPv4 data packet and an IPv6 data packet, and then installing and configuring the IPv4 data packet and the IPv6 data packet into an SDN controller. The mode is simple and convenient to configure, and the original network device does not need to be functionally modified. When the requirement for interconnection of the IPv4 and the IPv6 is not needed, only the function of interconnection of the IPv4 and the IPv6 needs to be removed from the controller, and the influence on the network is very small. According to the invention, the debugging test of the network function becomes flexible and convenient, even if some network application functions are not needed in the future, only the related application modules need to be removed from the controller, and the influence on the network is very little.
