According to the invention, proteoglycan and II-type collagen are cartilage specific matrix products; in a control induction group, hUC-MSCs present obvious chondrogenic differentiation under the induction of a basic induction culture medium; and thecontents of the proteoglycan and the II-type collagen in an L-tyrosine derivative 1 induction group and an L-tyrosine derivative 2 induction group are higher than the contents of the proteoglycan andthe II-type collagen in the control induction group, which indicates that L-tyrosine derivatives 1 and 2 in the L-tyrosine derivative 1 and 2 induction groups can further promote chondrogenic differentiation of hUC-MSCs and have a dose effect. Therefore, the L-tyrosine derivatives 1 and 2 have the effect of promoting chondrogenic differentiation of the umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells in vitro, and are applicable to preparation of the culture medium for promoting chondrogenic differentiation of the umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells.
