The method comprises the following steps: determining theoretical values respectively corresponding to a first to-be-optimized parameter, a second to-be-optimized parameter and a third to-be-optimized parameter of a to-be-optimized cable intermediate joint; establishing a simulation model according to each theoretical value, the basic parameters of the cable and the material parameters of the cable; taking the first to-be-optimized parameter as a variable, and selecting at least two first pre-selected values for the first to-be-optimized parameter in a preset range; inputting the combined data which comprises the theoretical value of the second to-be-optimized parameter, the theoretical value of the third to-be-optimized parameter and the first pre-selected value into a simulation model, and performing simulation operation through the simulation model to obtain at least two groups of first simulation outputs; and selecting a first optimal value for the first to-be-optimized parameter from the at least two first pre-selected values according toeach group of first simulation outputs and a first preset condition.
