Abstract

The invention provides a tooth position detection and missing tooth marking method and device. The method comprises the steps: obtaining the image data of an original dental panoramic film, and pre-processing the image data of the original dental panoramic film to obtain the image data of a to-be-processed dental panoramic film; inputting the image data of the to-be-processed dental panoramic filminto a tooth position detection model, and outputting a tooth position detection result set; based on a bounding frame, calculating the center of the bounding frame as tooth position coordinates; according to the tooth position coordinates, respectively carrying out linear fitting on an upper row of tooth positions and a lower row of tooth positions in the tooth position detection result set, wherein the fitting function is y = k*abs(x-c); comparing FDI tooth position representation with the tooth position detection result set to confirm a missing tooth position; determining unique coordinatepositions of the missing tooth based on the fitting function, and constructing a missing tooth marking result set based on the missing tooth position and the missing tooth coordinates; and based on the tooth position detection result set and the missing tooth marking result set, visually outputting the original dental panoramic film image data.
