The embodiment of the invention provides a test method, a test platform, an intelligent gateway and a test system, and the method comprises the steps: transmitting test information to the intelligentgateway through a test interface, the test interface being an interface between a test plug-in on the intelligent gateway and the test platform; and obtaining a test result that the test plug-in on the intelligent gateway tests the API interface of the intelligent gateway based on the test information. In the embodiment of the invention, the whole test process from equipment information analysis to return value comparison is automated by utilizing an interactive architecture among the test platform, the test interface and the intelligent gateway, and the method has high efficiency; the intelligent gateway equipment information is automatically read, the corresponding test plug-in is automatically selected, the return value is automatically compared, manual work is not needed in the test process, manual misoperation in input and comparison operation of a large number of parameters is avoided, and high reliability is achieved.
