The invention provides an automatic geologic body boundary simplifying method and device and electronic device, and the method comprises the steps: S13, obtaining an intersection set between a circlewhich takes an initial point as the center of a circle and takes a preset distance as the radius and a geologic body boundary; S14, adding the intersection points in the preset direction in the intersection point set into the first set; S15, under the condition that the number of the intersection points in the first set is not equal to 0, adding the intersection points meeting the preset conditioninto a second set, the intersection points meeting the preset condition serve as new initial points, and executing the step S13; and S16, under the condition that the number of the intersection points in the first set is equal to 0, connecting the intersection points in the second set by using a smooth curve to obtain a simplified geologic body boundary. According to the method, by executing thesteps, automatic simplification of the geologic body boundary is achieved, the simplification efficiency is improved, simplification errors caused by manual simplification are avoided, and the simplification accuracy is guaranteed.
