Provided is a switching device which is simple in structure and has high impact resistance. A switching device according to a first embodiment of the present invention is provided with a switching structure having an operation unit for switching a connection state in accordance with a mechanical operation performed on the operation unit; a housing having an accommodating space for accommodating the switch structure; and a lever member with elasticity, wherein one end of the lever member is inserted into the housing, and the other end exposed from the housing is capable of coming into contact with the operation part when subjected to an external force. The switch device being characterized in that the housing has a locking part capable of preventing the switch structure from coming out of the housing space, and the one end of the lever member is capable of preventing the lock portion from moving in a lock release direction.
