AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for accurate measurements on an electronic device's power supply during use without being affected from external sources like light or radioactive radiation. It uses a special type of optical fibers that are embedded inside another material called plasterboard (a wood product). These fibers have unique properties such as reflecting infrared rays when excited at certain frequencies. By monitoring these signals accurately, it becomes possible to determine how well this electronics works properly over time.

Problems solved by technology

Technologies described in this patents involve various techniques for analyzing the behavior of electronic valves during operations. These technics aim to improve safety and reliability while minimizing damage caused by excessive forces applied over long periods without requiring expensive replacement parts like springs or pumps. Additionally, some existing systems have limitations due to potential electrostatic interferences from external sources and require multiple sensory instruments which may affect the overall quality of the instrument's measurements.

Abstract

The invention provides a torque and stroke measuring system for an electric valve and an actuator thereof. The system comprises the electric valve actuator, a fiber bragg grating sensor, an optical signal rotary coupling assembly and an upper computer, wherein the electric valve actuator comprises a worm and a worm gear, and an output shaft of the worm gear is connected with a valve rod of the to-be-measured valve; the fiber bragg grating sensor is buried into the outer peripheral surface of the worm in the axis direction of the worm, so that the central wavelength of the fiber bragg grating sensor periodically changes along with the rotation of the worm; a rotor outgoing line of the optical signal rotary coupling assembly is connected with a tail fiber of the fiber bragg grating sensor, and a stator outgoing line of the optical signal rotary coupling assembly is connected with a fiber bragg grating demodulator; and the upper computer is connected with the fiber bragg grating demodulator and is used for collecting the central wavelength of the fiber bragg grating sensor in real time. The invention further provides a corresponding measuring method. According to the system, the torque and stroke of the electric valve and the actuator thereof can be synchronously obtained by measuring the wavelength offset of a fiber bragg grating, the operation is simple and easy to conduct, the measurement precision is high, and the system has the functions of resisting electromagnetic interference and radiation and can be widely applied to the field of torque and stroke measurement of the electric valve and the actuator thereof.
