The identification system comprises: a computer system for performing an identification process, wherein the computer system comprises an analysis system managing a graphical user interface and an application program interface enabling a user to interact with the computer system; and an electrode assembly used for receiving soil data, wherein the electrode assembly is placed at the position, lower than the ground, in the soil and comprises a conductive electrode and one or more probe electrodes, and each probe electrode is at a preset distance from the conductive electrode. The electrode assembly further comprises members comprising a fixed member and a template member, an external data source for obtaining data relating to the identification process, a storage medium for storing soil data corresponding to characteristics and / or attribute levels of the soil, and a computer system operating the electrode assembly and / or processing the soil data and generating additional soil data therefrom.
