Abstract

The invention relates to discarding a forwarded PDCP SDU during dual activation protocol stack handover. One embodiment relates to an apparatus of a first BS, the apparatus comprising: a memory; a processing circuit operably coupled to the memory; and an interface in communication with at least one second BS, the apparatus being configured to: send a HO command to the UE to perform a HO process; allocate an SN for each PDCP SDU; and forward the PDCP SDU with the SN to the at least one second BS as a part of the HO process, wherein the HO command indicates a DAPS HO with the at least one second BS. According to the embodiment of the invention, the discarding of the forwarded PDCP SDU can be realized.
