Abstract

The invention discloses a method for realizing metadata synchronization between heterogeneous databases, and relates to the technical field of data synchronization. The method comprises the following steps: defining basic types of metadata in source databases; aiming at the storage format and the data attribute of the basic type, defining an extension attribute corresponding to the basic type and a constraint condition of the extension attribute; based on the constraint information of the basic type and the extended attribute, mapping metadata of the source database; taking json as a load format of metadata, defining basic attributes of table metadata and field metadata in a source database respectively, taking the field metadata as sub-attributes of the table metadata in an array mode, and then achieving the effective transmission of the metadata between the source database and target data by extending the attributes; therefore, the cost of metadata type conversion in an isolation source database and a target database is reduced to the greatest extent, and meanwhile, the later maintenance cost is reduced.
