The method comprises the following steps: initializing the positions of N intelligent agents, simulating and generating explosion sparks in an intelligent agent sensing range by using a firework explosion mechanism, guiding the intelligent agents to move to the positions of the explosion sparks and elite guide sparks through a path planning method, and sensing the target source signal intensity of the intelligent agents; selecting the best position from all the positions of movement of each agent as the next-generation movement position of the agent; and repeating the intelligent agent searching and moving process until the target source is searched or the maximum number of iterations is reached. The method is applied to a gas leakage source positioning problem, and an intelligent agent group searches a target source according to a firework explosion process.
