The invention discloses a control method for a CHB converter of a flexible
loop closing device, and relates to the technical field of power electronic
converters and control. A hierarchical control structure is adopted, and an upper-layer controller generates and issues a control instruction giving consideration to
system global situation and module balance; the lower local controller receives the instruction, selects an optimal switching state based on a
stability criterion, and directly controls the power device to minimize the output deviation. According to the invention, traditional
linear control and PWM modulation are abandoned. And the lower-layer switching control is based on a
stability criterion and aims at instantaneously minimizing an error, so that the dynamic response speed is high, and the
power grid disturbance can be effectively dealt with. Meanwhile, the method does not depend on an accurate
system model, is insensitive to parameter changes, is high in robustness, and remarkably improves the stability of the
system under complex working conditions. In addition, according to the method, a PWM (
Pulse Width Modulation) link and lower-layer control
parallel computing are omitted, a control structure is simplified, the operation load of a
central processing unit is greatly reduced, and hardware implementation is easy.
