Abstract

A parking assist system includes: a display device configured to display a parking space candidate; and a control device configured to control a screen display of the display device, to set the parking space candidate selected by a user to a target parking space, to set a stop position where the vehicle should be stopped in the target parking space, and to execute a driving process to autonomously move the vehicle along a trajectory to the stop position. While executing the driving process, the control device causes the display device to display the trajectory and the stop position and determines whether the stop position is suitable based on external environment information.
