Abstract

The invention provides a compressor and a turbine cooler having the same. The compressor includes: a compressor body; a support; a rotor disposed in the hollow portion of the support and configured to have a compression flow path; and a seal mounted on the inner periphery of the front end of the hollow portion configured to surround the outer periphery of the front end of the rotor. A gap is formed between the outer periphery of the rear end of the rotor and the inner periphery of the rear end of the hollow portion, and the inner periphery of the seal and the outer periphery of the front end of the rotor are formed in uneven shapes corresponding to each other, thereby reducing a pressure difference between the inner peripheries of both ends of an impeller serving as the rotor and the support, and thus minimizing refrigerant leakage.
