Abstract

A device installation assistance system, device installation assistance method and program are provided which enable increasing efficiency of device installation. This device installation assistance system (1) is provided with a display processing unit (109), an obstacle information acquisition unit (105) and a first determination processing unit (106). The display processing unit (109) displays on a display unit (12) an installation diagram relating to the multiple devices and the facility where a controller is to be installed, wherein the installation positions of the multiple devices and the installation position of the controller for controlling the multiple devices are added to said installation diagram. For each of the multiple devices, if an obstacle is present on the straight line connecting the device and the controller, the obstacle information acquisition unit (105) acquires obstacle information relating to the obstacle. Of the arrangement diagram and the obstacle information, the first determination processing unit (106) uses at least the arrangement diagram to calculate, for each of the multiple devices, the communication state between the device and the controller, and determines whether or not it is possible to control the device with the controller.
