The rotating speed control method comprises the steps that actual data of the temperature sensors and the pressure sensors are collected, the data are processed to obtain temperature ratio data and pressure ratio data, and the data are matched to corresponding oil content prediction models; according to the temperature ratio data and the pressure ratio data, predicted oil content data are obtained; and the rotating speed of the compressor is controlled according to the predicted oil content data. According to the rotating speed control method, the four oil content prediction models are obtained through a large amount of data training, so that the heat pump system can predict the oil content of the compressor according to the readings of the temperature sensors and the pressure sensors, the rotating speed of the compressor is controlled according to the predicted oil content of the compressor, automatic control over the compressor is achieved, oil shortage of the compressor is prevented, and the safety of the heat pump system is improved.
