Abstract

The invention provides a chain replacement method, which can be used in many fields with less burden on an operator. First, a door is disposed at the lowermost position. After a closing step, a telescopic support device is disposed between the counterweight and an upward surface directly below the counterweight. After the supporting step, the supporting device is extended, and the counterweight is moved upward by the supporting device. After the moving step, the chain is replaced with a new chain. After the replacement step, the support device is shortened and the support device is removed from below the counterweight.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for replacing a chain included in an elevator apparatus. Background technique [0002] Patent Document 1 describes an elevator apparatus. The elevator apparatus described in patent document 1 is equipped with the door which moves up and down. The movement of the door is performed via a chain. When the chain becomes old, construction for replacing the old chain with a new chain is required. [0003] As described in Patent Document 1, conventionally, the existing chain is replaced with a new chain by sandwiching a square material under the door to loosen the chain. In addition, Patent Document 1 also describes a method in which a bracket provided with a sling is temporarily installed on a frame body to which a sprocket is fixed, and the counterweight is lifted by the sling.
