The bridge pier comprises a prefabricated bridge pier shell; the prefabricated pier shell is formed by pouring UHPC materials, and a plurality of outer ring longitudinal steel bars and a plurality of outer ring annular stirrups are arranged in the shell wall. A plurality of inner-ring longitudinal steel bars and a plurality of inner-ring annular stirrups are arranged in the inner cavity; the outer-ring longitudinal steel bars and the inner-ring longitudinal steel bars extend downwards to be anchored on the bearing platform; inner ring reinforcing connection longitudinal steel bars are arranged in the bearing platform corresponding to the inner ring longitudinal steel bars, and connection reinforcing constraint stirrups are arranged in the bearing platform corresponding to the inner ring annular stirrups on the inner ring longitudinal steel bar anchors. During construction, firstly, the prefabricated pier shell is manufactured, and a template of a bearing platform is built; after the prefabricated pier shell is in place, steel reinforcement cages are arranged in the bearing platform and an inner cavity of the prefabricated pier shell; then the bearing platform is poured; and finally, concrete mortar is poured into the inner cavity.
