Embodiment Construction

[0047] figure 2 A system 20 for regulating the cabin temperature of an aircraft 10 is shown.

[0048] By "cabin of the aircraft" is understood the interior of the aircraft, that is to say all of the following: the cockpit of the aircraft, the avionics bay and the cabin containing the passenger seats.

[0049]System 20 includes a plurality of sensors 22 arranged in the cabin of aircraft 10 . The nacelle is divided into regions and at least one sensor is arranged in each region. The sensor 22 is arranged in the lower part of the nacelle (defined with respect to the ground), that is to say at the floor of the nacelle, for example under the seats; in the upper part of the nacelle (defined with respect to the ground), that is to say At the ceiling of the cabin, for example at the luggage compartment; and in the middle part between the lower part and the upper part, that is to say at the seats.

[0050] Each sensor 22 is configured to acquire data 24 indicative of cabin temperat...

Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for regulating the temperature of a cabin of an aircraft when on the ground. The system (20) includes a computer server (26) receiving data (24) representative of the temperature of the cabin and including a database (28) containing, for the aircraft, a predetermined cycle (40) of regulation of the temperature of the air of the cabin; a ground pre-conditioned air unit (32) including: a pre-conditioned air generator (34) and a control module (36); and a user interface (30) connected to the computer server and transmitting a control signal (38) to the control module; and the control module, upon receiving the control signal, controlling the pre-conditioned air generator, according to the predetermined cycle, which is modulated depending on the data. This system makes it possible to control the temperature of the cabin in real time, so as to correctly disinfect it.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to a system and a method for regulating the temperature of the cabin of an aircraft while it is on the ground, allowing effective disinfection of the entire cabin. Background technique [0002] Today, despite certain hygiene precautions, aircraft passengers can still become infected with a virus that can be transmitted, inter alia, via contact surfaces in the cabin. Therefore, the cabin is at risk of being exposed to infected passengers. [0003] In order to avoid the spread of the virus, routine basic disinfection of the cabin is carried out. [0004] It is known that certain viruses become inactive if exposed to a predetermined temperature for a given duration. [0005] In order to bring the aircraft cabin to a predetermined temperature, and thus sanitize the cabin, ground preconditioned air (PCA) units are usually used. [0006] figure 1 The aircraft 10 is shown on the ground, the preconditioned air unit 12 is con...
