The present application achieves charging via the wireless connection method, doesn't require accurate physical locating, and achieves charging when the rechargeable battery assembly is put in the transmitting range of the electromagnetic wave of the external charger. The charging is easy to achieve, and the defect of the poor contact caused by the aging or polluted interface can't exist.

In one form a capacitive sensor is disclosed for immersion into a fluid, the capacitive sensor having a housing and first and second electrodes with the first electrode being disposed at least partially within the housing and electrically connected to a circuit, the second electrode being electrically connected to the circuit via an electrical connection and physically separated from the housing containing at least a portion of the first electrode so that at least a portion of the electrical connection or second electrode is located above or outside of the fluid to reduce the risk that minerals will form between the electrodes. In another form the electrodes are separated into their own cavities of the sensor housing via a bridging member which separates the electrodes to help reduce the risk of mineral buildup occurring between the electrodes. In other forms, capacitors, capacitive sensors, pump controls and systems utilizing these features are disclosed along with methods and apparatus relating to same. In yet other forms additional sensors such as current sensors, thermal sensors, speed sensors, torque sensors and Hall Effect sensors are disclosed for use alone or in combination with said capacitive sensor for detecting fluid level and / or controlling pumps. High performance flipchip package that incorporates heat removal with minimal thermal mismatch

A semiconductor flipchip package includes a central cavity area on the first major side for receiving a flipchip die therein. The package substrate is substantially made from a single material that serves as the support and stiffener and provides within the cavity floor all the connecting points for flipchip interconnection to the silicon die. The integral cavity wall serves as a stiffener member of the package and provides the required mechanical stability of the whole arrangement without the need for a separate stiffener material to be adhesively attached. The cavity walls may contain extra routing metallization to create bypass capacitors to enhance electrical performance. Optional methods to cover the silicon die enhance thermal performance of the package.

The flow rate through the bleed line is increased as the operating load is decreased, reducing the power delivered by the turbine assembly while maintaining the T_PZ above a lower T_PZ limit. A method for operating a turbine engine assembly is also disclosed.

Multi-function power monitor and circuit protector

A compact and multi-functional power monitoring and circuit protection system is provided that is easily installed, used and modified, and internally derives all control and output power from the input voltages being monitored for abnormal power conditions. The functionality of all desired power monitoring and sensing devices is integrated into one unit controlled by a microprocessor. This substantially reduces the number of parts and control wiring required to achieve adequate power monitoring and circuit protection, and reduces the assembly and installation time. The integrated system uses only one set of voltage input wires, one set of current input wires, one set of blown fuse input wires and one output pair of wires to the power disconnect switch's shunt trip. Circuitry is provided to select one of the three power phases being monitored such that one of the three phases is always available to power the system. Control voltages for controlling the shunt trip and external circuits using output relays (to illuminate pilot lights, bell alarms, etc.) are also provided onboard the unit. A blown fuse detection circuit uses solid-state devices in lieu of replaceable trigger fuses. The unit can be instantly reset itself after a blown fuse condition in a power disconnect switch has been rectified.
