Abstract

The invention relates to the field of vehicle automatic guidance. The invention relates to a method for avoiding a collision of a vehicle with an object having a protruding structure. The method comprises the following steps: S1, detecting an object having a protruding structure on a side facing the vehicle in the direction of travel of the vehicle; S2, solving a relative position relation and a relative motion relation between the vehicle and the protruding structure; S3, checking whether the collision risk of the vehicle and the protruding structure exists or not according to the relative position relation and the relative motion relation; and S4, under the condition that the collision risk exists, controlling the vehicle to deflect towards the safety direction which enables the vehicle to be at least partially far away from the protruding structure.
