Abstract

An insulated wire (102) includes an elongated cover member (12) and at least two elongated electrical conductors (14, 16) held within the cover member (12). The insulated wire (102) further includes an elongated carrier member (20) held within the cover member (12). The insulated wire (102) also includes an elongated flexible cutting member (22) held within the cover member (12). The elongate electrical conductors (14, 16), the elongate carrier member (20) and the elongate flexible cutting member (22) extend longitudinally through the cover part (12). An elongate flexible cutting member (22) extends through the cover member (12) adjacent the elongate carrier member (20). The cutting member (22) is capable of cutting the cover member (12), thereby allowing a portion of the carrier member (20) to be removed from the cover member (12).
