Problems solved by technology

[0004] At present, tilia is still mainly used for sowing seedlings, but because the seeds of tilia are difficult to break the dormancy characteristics, it has brought many difficulties to the production of seedlings, hindering its development and utilization in landscaping and afforestation

[0024] 1. Materials and methods

[0025] 1.1 Test material

[0026] Linden bran seeds were collected from Xinshan Village, Jiangmifeng Town, Longtan District, Jilin City, Jilin Province. At the beginning of September, select the tilia mother tree with robust growth and no pests and diseases to collect its fresh seeds. After the seeds are harvested, they are divided into two parts, one part is directly subjected to the dormancy-breaking treatment, and the other part is dried and then subjected to the dormancy-breaking treatment.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for breaking dormancy of tilia mandshurica seeds, and relates to the technical field of plant planting. The method comprises the following steps: (1) treating tilia mandshurica seeds with GA3, and soaking the treated tilia mandshurica seeds in water; (2) uniformly mixing and stirring the soaked seeds and fine sand, and then performing pretreatment; and (3) carrying out stratification treatment on the pretreated seeds. By means of the method, tilia mandshurica seed dormancy can be effectively broken, the germination rate of the seeds is increased, and the germination rate of fresh tilia mandshurica seeds can reach 64.22% at most; the germination rate of the dried tilia mandshurica seeds can be up to 66.00%.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of plant planting, in particular to a method for breaking linden seed dormancy. Background technique [0002] Seed dormancy refers to the phenomenon that viable seeds or germination tissues still fail to germinate within a specific period of time given suitable environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and light for seed germination. Seed dormancy is a biological characteristic of plant self-protection, and it is an active adaptation of plants to relatively stable seasonal changes during the long-term phylogeny and evolution. The nutrients in the dormant seeds are in insoluble state and the metabolism is weak, so as to prevent the seeds from germinating in unsuitable seasons and ensure that the species can survive in the harsh environment. However, for agricultural and forestry production, it is necessary for the seeds to germinate quickly, neatly and quickly, so the agricultural and forestry p...
