Embodiments of the invention provide an image similarity determination method and apparatus, an electronic device and a readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a to-be-detected image and a plurality of candidate images; the to-be-detected image and the candidate image are input into a pre-trained similarity distribution model, prediction distribution is output, and the prediction distribution is used for reflecting the distribution probability of the similarity of the to-be-detected image and the candidate image; the similarity distribution model is obtained through training according to a plurality of training samples, and the training samples comprise a first sample image, a plurality of second sample images and a similarity value between the first sample image and each second sample image; and mapping the predicted distribution based on a mapping function to determine a plurality of target similarities, the mapping function being obtained by fitting the predicted distribution of the training sample and the similarity value.
