Abstract

The invention provides a server and a printing system which can send a printing instruction to a terminal device when network information changes. The server includes: a server storage unit that stores a print job-related information record in which a print job ID and network information are associated with each other; a first acquisition unit that acquires a print request; a transmission unit that transmits a print instruction to the terminal device on the basis of network information corresponding to the print job ID of the print request acquired by the first acquisition unit among the stored network information; a second acquisition unit that acquires print job information from the terminal device; and an updating unit that updates, based on the acquired print job information, a print job-related information record including the print job ID of the print job information acquired by the second acquisition unit among the stored print job-related information records.
