Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of medicines, in particular to application of an NAT10 small-molecule inhibitor in preparation of a medicine for treating depression. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is injected into a mouse to establish a depression model, an NAT10 small-molecule inhibitor remodelin is injected into the abdominal cavity of the mouse, and the anti-depression effect of the NAT10 small-molecule inhibitor remodelin is evaluated through a tail suspension experiment and a sweet water preference experiment. Results show that the NAT10 small-molecule inhibitor remodelin can obviously reduce the immobility time in a mouse tail suspension experiment, increase the mouse sweet water preference percentage and effectively improve the depression-like behavior of a mouse, and a new way is provided for developing a new anti-depression drug.
