Abstract

An air cleaning apparatus includes an air cleaning unit moved in a vertical direction to clean room air, allowing the room air to be effectively and uniformly cleaned in a short period of time. The air cleaning apparatus includes a longitudinal cabinet to stand on a support surface. An air cleaning unit is installed in the cabinet to move in the vertical direction, and is provided with a blowing unit and a filtering unit to clean air.
