Abstract

A power saving dehumidification method of an air conditioner according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) determining a frequency of a compressor using a compressor-operating algorithm according to a humidity difference between a set humidity and an indoor humidity; and (b) adjusting the revolution rate of an outdoor fan sing an outdoor fan-operating algorithm according to a temperature difference between a reference temperature and an indoor temperature. The step (b) comprises the steps of: (b-1) if the humidity difference between the indoor humidity and the set humidity is less than 10 % of the set humidity, setting the revolution rate of the indoor fan to be weak wind; and (b-2) if the humidity difference between the indoor humidity and the set humidity is not less than 10 % of the set humidity, setting the revolution rate of the indoor fan to be strong wind.
