Problems solved by technology

[0011] Thus most of the solutions that have been proposed are still quite complex and expensive and do not lead to an improvement in safety, recalling the complex and difficult control of magnetic phenomena
Specifically, in some systems that employ lengths of wire or ribbon with magnets, blocking the wire or ribbon may cause changes in the response of the system
Furthermore, these known systems can only offer a limited number of combinations similar to barcodes to achieve real coding, or they have to do so at the expense of excessive complexity, either in the label itself or in the "reading" of the label. detector aspect, to achieve this encoding

Embodiment Construction

[0069] figure 1 A magnetic mark constructed in the form of a magnetically encoded label 1 is shown. The label includes a carrier sheet 2 with a glued surface, and a protective sheet 3 of the silicon-coated paper type initially applied on the glued surface of the carrier sheet 2.

[0070] Parallel positions 4 separated by a fixed "spacing" or interval "e" are predefined on the magnetic encoding label 1. In some of these predetermined positions 4, parallel lines 5 having super soft ferromagnetic properties are laid. The absence or presence line 5 at each possible position 4 defines a detectable binary code dedicated to each tag 1.

[0071] The marking also advantageously includes a first line 6 with ferromagnetic properties at the end of the tag 1 in order to mark the start of the "readout" area in which other lines 5 are located.

[0072] By simply attaching to the glued surface of the carrier sheet 2, all the wires 5 and 6 are fixed in their predetermined positions, and the prot...

Abstract

The invention relates to a marking system ( 1 )comprising wires ( 5 ) exhibiting ultrasoft ferromagnetic properties. Said wires are arranged on or in a carrier ( 2 ) and are associated with pre-established parallel positions ( 4 ) which are separated by a constant gap (e) according to a pre-established frame. The wires ( 5 ) can be present or absent in each position ( 4 ), forming a detectable binary code. The inventive marking system ( 1 ) can especially be embodied as a magnetically coded label. The invention also relates to a method for producing one such marking system by continuously incorporating ferromagnetic wires ( 5 ) into an adhesive complex ( 2, 3 ). The inventive marking system is used to identify and authenticate articles, products or objects.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to the marking of articles, products or objects in order to identify and / or verify them. More specifically, the present invention relates to a system for security marking by "reading" out "magnetically coded tags" with the help of appropriate detectors. The marking system according to the present invention has various applications: [0002] -Prevent counterfeiting of industrial products by verifying original products; [0003] -Traceability of products or items through batches or product sequences or possibly through individual items; [0004] -As a supplement to traditional optical barcodes or possibly as an alternative to identify products or items in commercial circulation. Background technique [0005] Currently, it is well known to use light bar codes to identify items or products, but it contains some disadvantages. Specifically, the optical barcode can be easily imitated or modified with the help of scanners an...
