Abstract

The present invention provides a device and a method which are used to process the mixed data of a selected task. An input conversion module converts the mixed data into conversion data. A function mapping module processes the conversion data and provides a function output used for the selected task. The selected task can be one or the combination of various possible tasks, including retrieving, invoking, forecasting, classifying, etc. For example, the selected task can be used for data mining, database retrieval, targeted marketing, computer virus detection, etc.
