Embodiment Construction

[0024] [24] A compressed air rotary engine as shown has:

[0025] [25]-a stator 1 and a rotor 2, which are cylindrical and concentric;

[0026] [26] - a volume chamber V, which is bounded longitudinally by the relative cylindrical walls of said stator and said rotor, and laterally by the relative side plates 3 and 4;

[0027] [27] - At least one intake duct 5 of pressurized air P, which is located in at least one decompression chamber Va belonging to said volume chamber V, and at least one exhaust duct 6 of residual air R, which is located at the end of a decompression cycle When discharging the residual air R.

[0028] [28] Each decompression chamber Va is defined longitudinally at one end by a wall 8 that replaces the piston, that is connected to the rotor 2 and extends to the stator 1, and at the other end by a retractable wall 8 that is arranged in the corresponding Upstream of the inlet duct 5 , connected in translation with the stator 1 and extending to the rotor 2 , i...

Abstract

The invention relates to a compressed air engine comprising a stator (1) and a rotor (2), cylinders and concentrics describing a volume chamber (V), at least one pipe (P) for supplying compressed air to at least one decompression chamber (Va) belonging to said volume (V) and defined by a piston (7) and retractable bottom (8) and at least one pipe (6) for removing residual air (R) at the end of a decompression cycle. The inventive engine is characterised in that each air supply pipe (5) is connected to means for injecting a defined quantity and volume of compressed air into the decompression chamber when the piston (7) moves on the supply pipe (5).

Description

technical field [0001] [01] The present invention relates to a compressed air rotary engine, which mainly includes: [0002] [02] - a stator and a rotor, which are cylindrical and concentric; [0003] [03] - a chamber, which is defined longitudinally by the relative cylindrical walls of said stator and said rotor, and laterally by relative side plates; [0004] [04] - at least one compressed air intake duct, which is located in at least one decompression chamber belonging to said space; and at least one residual air exhaust duct, which discharges residual air at the end of the decompression cycle; [0005] [05] Each decompression chamber is bounded longitudinally at one end by a wall instead of the piston, connected to the rotor and extending to the stator, and at the other end by a retractable wall arranged upstream of the corresponding intake duct. A wall connected in translation with the stator and extending to the rotor is defined by a member adapted to allow the piston ...
