Abstract

The present invention overcomes the disadvantages of feeding pets (animals). A system is proposed that is easy to operate and easy to refill, with substantially no leakage of liquid during use or preparation. This is achieved through a system of animal drinking troughs. The system has a level controlled drinking dispensing section (2; 4, 12, 13, 6) for receiving a beverage can (1) inserted with the front end section (1f, 1b) facing downwards. A beverage can contains one of an animal beverage, a health beverage and a nutritional beverage as a beverage (1a). The drinking part (3; 3a, 3b) has an open top (3a), allowing the animal access to the drink when it flows from the dispensing part (2) into the drinking part (3) through a drink communication channel (7, 7a). This channel (7) is between the dispensing and drinking parts (2, 3).
