Benefits of technology

[0006]The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a hair ring providing improved wearing comfort, improved wearing stability, and wider applications.
[0007]Another objective of the present invention is to provide a hair ring with enhanced bonding effect between a body and a plurality of ornaments.

Problems solved by technology

However, the curvature of the arcuate body 1′ can not suit various outlines of the heads of different users, such that the clamping portions 11′ and 12′ are either too tight or too loose for the user, leading to limited applications as well as uncomfortable feeling.

Embodiment Construction

[0015]A hair ring according to the preferred teachings of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 1-4 of the drawings and generally includes a body 1 and a string 2. The body 1 is arcuate and made of plastic material. The body 1 includes a plurality of spaced sections 12 and a plurality of bendable portions 11 each having a thickness smaller than that of the spaced sections 12. Each bendable portion 11 is intermediate two spaced sections 12 adjacent to each other. Each spaced section 12 includes an ornament coupling portion 13 in the most preferred form shown as a groove into which an ornament 14 is fixed by bonding. The body 1 further includes a plurality of teeth 15 on an underside thereof. The body 1 further includes two ends each having a string coupling portion 16 in the most preferred form shown as a hole. The string 2 is stretchable and engaged with the string coupling portions 16.

Abstract

A hair ring includes an arcuate body having a plurality of bendable sections and a plurality of spaced sections. Each bendable portion is intermediate two of the spaced sections adjacent to each other and has a thickness smaller than that of the spaced sections. The body further includes two ends each having a string coupling portion. A string is coupled to the string coupling portions. When the hair ring is worn on a head of a user, the body is bendable at the bendable portions according to an outline of the head of the user, and the string holds the hair at a rear of the head of the user.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0001]1. Field of the Invention[0002]The present invention relates to a hair ring and, more particularly, to a hair ring providing improved wearing comfort, improved wearing stability, and wider applications.[0003]2. Description of the Related Art[0004]FIG. 5 shows a conventional hair ring made of plastic material and heated and bent to form an arcuate shape. The hair ring includes an arcuate body 1′ having two clamping portions 11′ and 12′ at two ends thereof. The arcuate body 1′ further includes a plurality of teeth 13′ on an inner face thereof. A plurality of ornaments 14′ are bonded to an outer face of the arcuate body 1′ to provide an aesthetically pleasing effect. When a user wears the hair ring, the clamping portions 11′ and 12′ clamp two sides of the head of the user with the inner face of the arcuate body 1′ pressing against the hair of the user and with the teeth 13′ extending through the hair of the user.[0005]However, the curvature of the arcua...
