The firmness of the foam keeps the pillow at the proper height, without sinking down, so that the nursing mother may keep proper posture. The memory foam layer allows the baby, and the mother's arms, to nestle into the pillow to provide a feeling of comfort and security. The wedge is designed to flip from side to side so that the nursing mother may evenly utilize both breasts for feeding. The height of the highest side of the pillow allows baby to nurse at breast level.
