The method comprises the following steps: selecting perennial festuca arundinacea as a test plant for establishment of a single turf, randomly selecting four test plots in the airport, wherein each test plot has a size of 15 m x 20 m and an intervening interval of 2 m, turning soil with a soil turning machine, and allowing a vegetation to naturally grow, wherein no festuca arundinacea seeds are spread, and no cutting is performed; carrying out rolling compaction twice every year for a main cutting area, and cutting the vegetation once every half month; turning the soil in a festuca arundinacea turf test plot, then sowing festuca arundinacea seeds with a total sowing amount of 10 kg, and digging 50 ditches with a separation distance of 0.3 m, wherein the sowing amount of the festuca arundinacea seeds in each ditch is about 0.2 kg; and randomly recording the number of insects in each sample plot, and taking collected insects back to a laboratory for sorting and identification. The method provided by the invention aims to research the influence of a single turf plant on an insect community and the diversity of the insect communities in the airport mainly through establishment of non-native turf plant namely festuca arundinacea in the airport.
