The application provides a display panel, which comprises an array substrate, a counter substrate and a
liquid crystal layer arranged between the array substrate and the counter substrate. A display area of the array substrate comprises a plurality of pixel units for performing
image display, each of the pixel units comprises a
liquid crystal capacitor and a storage
capacitor, the
liquid crystal capacitor is connected with a first common
electrode line, and the storage capacitor is connected with a second common
electrode line. A switch unit is connected with the first common
electrode line and the second common electrode line, and is used for electrically connecting the first common electrode line and the second common electrode line when power is turned off, so that the liquid
crystal capacitor and the storage capacitor have the same
voltage and discharging speed, thereby avoiding screen flickering and image sticking, and effectively improving display effect. The application further provides a
display device comprising the display panel.
