This invention provides an automated suturing device and robotic platform for
oral surgery, relating to the field of oral
medical device technology. It includes an
operating table with an operation window on its central surface. A rotating
assembly is located at the top of the operation window. The rotating
assembly includes a toothed ring rotatably mounted around the operation window. A movable frame is fixed to the top of the toothed ring. A needle-threading
assembly is located inside the operation window, including a first sliding frame. Compared to existing technologies, the needle-threading assembly and clamping assembly are mounted on the
operating table and can be adjusted according to the patient's wound position. After connecting the suture to the suture hook, the suture passes through both sides of the wound under the drive of the needle-threading assembly. The clamping assembly pulls out the suture hook and cuts and knots the suture, facilitating precise positioning and suturing of the oral wound, saving manpower and improving efficiency.
