Abstract

The method includes steps: RNC sends message to UE to indicate that UE needs RRC connection; UE sends message to SGSN to indicate that the service is MBMS or dedicated service; based on different service types, SGSN sends different messages to RNC. The invention let SGSN distinguish requests of operations caused by different services. Thus, different operations are adopted for different requests of service.
