Embodiment Construction
[0045] Referring now to the accompanying drawings, and in particular to figure 1 - 5D is a diagrammatic illustration of an engine carburetor 20 having a carburetor body 22 . Typically, carburetor 20 is used on two-stroke small engines. Depending on the design of the two-stroke engine and the use of the end product, the carburetor can be equipped with two mixing adjustment screws or valve needles or with a single mixing adjustment screw or valve needle. For the scheme equipped with two mixed regulating valve needles, both low-speed (no-load) fuel rich regulation and high-speed (large throttle opening) fuel rich regulation can be performed. When a single mixing valve needle scheme is used, only high-speed mixing adjustment can be performed. This is acceptable where performance is not critical at low speeds and where a fixed flow rate is tolerated.
[0046] In the depicted embodiment, the carburetor 20 has a low speed adjustment screw 24 and a high speed adjustment screw 26 . ...
