Abstract

A communications device of the present invention includes a single optical transceiver that carries out bi-directional communications using a single optical fiber, and a double optical transceiver that carries out bi-directional communications using two optical fibers, the single optical transceiver and the double optical transceiver being connected to a common communications control IC.
